Click and Send Forms
How often does that contact form on your website get used? Do you want to increase response? (If your answer is “no” why on earth did you pay for a website?)
One surprising barrier for many people who use the web is … typing. They hate to type – especially on hand-held devices like the iPhone. A contact form is a huge barrier if there’s just an “Enter your message here” area – or something of that nature.
The more we can make your form a collection of clickable options, the more it will get used. Think about all those visitors trying to type with their thumbs, and give them an alternative. Have a list of expected subjects… including “general enquiry” for those who DO want to type.
Applying this principle to one form increased response by 35% in a single day. It’s one of our favourite tips.
Example – Customers often want to know how quickly you can supply a product or service. So, ask us to create a series of tickboxes for product names, and a selection of enquiries to relate to the products that are ticked, one of which is “how soon can you supply?”
Use your imagination to account for as many enquiries as possible using the minimum number of selections. The less they have to type, the more likely they’ll click “submit”.
Tip: Get us to design a web form for you that will ensure every visitor feels comfortable sending an enquiry, whatever device they’re using, and whatever their typing ability.
